Nokia C5 Based On Symbian S60 3rd Edition Has Been Released

The CSeries Nokia has just gone official – as expected the first member of the line is the C5 Nokia. The new device for simplicity, glued to Symbian S60 3rd edition and it’s all about keeping in touch with friends and family through all modern means of communication.
The C5 design Nokia is an epitome of simplicity – bar form factor and standard phone keypad with large keys comfortable future. The screen is 2.2 “with QVGA resolution. The Nokia C5 is aimed at people who prefer a regular phone, so it does not touch.
The phone maintains a slim waist 12.3mm and weighs only 89 grams, although there are plenty of steel used for its body. The 1050 mAh battery of the Nokia C5 is good for 26 days of standby and 12 hours of talk time.
The CSeries Nokia excels at ease of communication, as well as strong talk time, there is a video call camera. Messaging Nokia side handles things with Google Talk instant messaging and Windows Live Messenger support.
The agenda of the C5 Nokia has also been updated and now shows updates from Facebook too.
Other notable features of the C5 Nokia includes a 3.2MP autofocus camera, 3.5mm audio jack and stereo speakers, a 2GB microSD card in the box (cards up to 16GB supported) and stereo FM radio.
There is a built-in GPS receiver with support A-GPS and Maps 3.0 with Ovi in freedom and car navigation. The only notable omission is Wi-Fi connectivity. Check out the Nokia 5630 XpressMusic – which has similar specifications, but the trades GPS for Wi-Fi. It is all plastic but there is no metal on board.
The Nokia C5 will be available in the second quarter in Europe, Eurasia, PAS, China and the MEA. The expected price before taxes and subsidies is 135 euros. CSeries also expect more phones, but Nokia is the mother of all data on upcoming devices.
Nokia also today an official explanation for its new naming convention – one letter and one digit. The letter signifies the type of phone – your company, the flagship phone entertainment center, etc. – and the figure is a rough indication of the amount of features and price of the phone class. This should make it easy for consumers to figure out what to expect from a phone, just by their model number.
